Happy Halloween 2015
So for the first time EVER we actually did theme customs. A football team! A couch, a football player, a cheerleader (or ballerina... which ever) a referee and our cute little football! Even though they were simple as can be and I may or may not have warn that jersey three Halloweens in a row, we still dressed up and I would say thats a big deal! Okay so maybe we need to branch out a little bit but I thought it was great! Seth's best friend Keato came to take the boys trick or treating and to be apart of our team!
Of course being the mom that I am, I knew what we were going to be for a long time but started getting the customs together the morning of. We went to like 4 stores and COULD NOT find a dang brown onesie for our baby football, so an hour before the church party, I got my sewing machine and went to work! It turned out super cute but I'm not gonna lie, the kid was basically sewed into that outfit because I had to buttons! Lets just say getting that thing off when he decided to dirty his pants as we were walking out the door was an ordeal. But gosh he looked cute!

Pumpkins, Boys & Halloween Eve
First of all, I LOVE fall and anything pumpkins. The smells, the leaves, the feel. everything about it. Pumpkins are probably one of the cutest things so having my adorable kid with a pumpkin is like unbeatable.
Seth's best friend, Keaton aka "Uncle Keato" came to visit us from Arizona and let me tell ya, my two year old was obsessed. Everything was about Uncle Keato and I totally understand because he is pretty awesome! After a week with us though, i'm sure he was ready to get home to his quite house ;)
grilled burgers, carved pumpkins, made bat shaped sugar cookies while playing games & wearing our halloween pajamas made for a pretty happy halloween eve

sister belnap's birthday
I love love love the missionaries. I have always wanted a home where missionaries were welcome and present anytime they need! I love the spirit they bring and the happiness they share! Our sweet sister missionary (who is from Logan, Utah!! Go aggies!!!) from our ward's mom texted me and asked me to make her a birthday cake for her birthday! They have a birthday tradition to always decorate their own cakes over year and their cute mom makes them a very tasty cake with amazing frosting!
(they really do love each other!)
I'm so glad I got to be the one to make her her birthday cake cause now I have the receipt and got to eat some! And you know Zac wasn't complaining!

pumpkin patch
An awesome lady in our ward had a pumpkin patch to raise money for Doctors without Borders so with my love of pumpkins and a great cause, we had to go! Zac loved picking out his pumpkin and running around!
I dont think I'll ever get a picture of both boys smiling in the same picture, ever.
I had to take the opportunity to take a picture of our little next to a pumpkin because last year we used pumpkins to announce our pregnancy with this guy. Gosh how much I love him and thankful he came to our family.
Thanks for the awesome idea and fun afternoon at your pumpkin patch Melissa!
xoxo, Chelsey
