Blessed

A few days ago I saw a quote that made me think and it said:

"What if you woke up today with only what you

thanked God for yesterday?"

Since we moved to Utah, we have seen blessing being poured upon our little family that I am so thankful for. So many I will just name a few on here!

-News of our new of our new little one! This is such a blessing! I was told by many doctors I probably wouldn't be able to have children with some previous health issues I had so this was a huge blessing

-We found a great little basement apartment that we have turned into our home

-Seth got a promotion! Now lets take a few seconds for a wife brag moment: I am so blessed to have a husband who is such a good worker, works hard everyday, is good with people and good at what he does! All of his bosses love him and he is just so darn cute all dressed up for work! he really is great at any work he does! I'm so proud of him!

-I got another job! My old company that I loved working for found out I moved back to Utah and called me to offer me a full time position with them. At the time I was already working part time at my current job and I don't plan on going back to work after the baby! They had no problem with that and gave me a part time position till this little one comes! Such a good company & is such a blessing for me to be able to work full time again to save up for our family!

With all of this we have been blessed to have each other and have become so much closer! That is the greatest blessing. I know that without the Lord we would not be where we are now and I am a very blessed girl

Staples, Staples, Staples

Some of my starter projects... If I can do it, seriously anyone can!

This was SO easy to cover & so useful to have all our blankets hidden or as my husband would say blankies haha

1. Buy storage Ottoman at Target/Walmart
2. Buy 1 yd fabric that you like
3. Staple gun fabric to original ottoman

and WAALA!

           BEFORE.                              AFTER.

As my friends and family know, I am all about coupons, sales and discounts so I was determined to buy an ugly gross chair and turn it into something not ugly and gross... for cheap!
I looked for chevron chairs and first I couldn't find one with arms & I couldn't find anything cheaper than 199.99 and on our budget... not happening. So I got a chair from the DI for 15 bucks, got fabric at Hobby Lobby with a 40% coupon that I got online and here was my first try at it and it was a TON cheaper than a new chair!

Advice- get use to taking out staples.

Beginning.

 Middle.

End. ((Finishing Product))
Okay almost finished product.. I still have to do the arm ends but will just pretend its done for now.

I wont take all the credit//Got my ideas from these fancy ladies.
I cant wait to do sewing projects now- like baby blankets! I'll keep ya updated.

Let the Crafting Begin

I am pretty new at this being a wife thing and now soon-to-be mother but it has motivated me to do more crafts, sewing and making meals. Now when I first got married, making dinner was a whole new concept for me but once I have started, I have really learned to enjoy it! Now I just have to convince my cute mom to start :) But really if I can do any of this, so can you!

So I pretty much has the most amazing husband, not that I'm bias or anything but he is by far the most adorable man that I have ever seen. He is so good to me! He works hard with school while working full time, makes me laugh everyday, leaves sweet notes on our bathroom mirror and helps around the house! He amazes me everyday with the spirit he has about him, the strong priesthood holder he is and how much he cares about others. We have so much fun together every day and couldn't be happier. Okay sorry I got carried away but now you know some of the reasons why I'm so in love with him! Which brings me to what makes him even more amazing... he got me an early first mothers day gift!

TA DA
A starter sewing machine! Doesn't it look just so cute on my craft table?!

Like I said I'm new at this but when we were last visiting my parents in Tucson my mom went through all of her scrapbook stuff and gave it to me and boy has it gotten me motivated! Seth and I went to the DI ((basically the best place ever)) and got the perfect craft table for an awesome deal! I might not have time to do much but I sure do love it!

Nesting

Once I hit my 5 month mark, a little panic set in or as my good friend Melina would say, "a little baby panic attack" and i was ready to start preparing and "nesting" for our little one to come in this world! So Pinterest has become a daily activity for "get ready for baby lists" and how to make the nursery as adorable as our little boy will be!

A few of my favorites are:

For the hospital bag.

Ideas for the nursery.

My husband who works full time and is going to school full time has been amazing and such a big help around the house especially cause I'm working full time and its been keeping me pretty busy! This weekend we dejunked out two closets to make room for the baby stuff! ((Shout out to my cousins Carrie and Jon who are pretty much amazing and gave us all of their baby boy stuff they aren't needing anymore!)) We even took a run to the DI... i mean how many newlyweds have that much were they can give stuff away?! We now have room for all the Diapers we have been acculating, new cute baby clothes from our amazing friends ((i could die they're so cute)) and these little gems..

I found this great quote that i put up on my computer at work as a reminder so I dont worry too much about all the little thing we have to do..

And a baby...

I'm not going to lie, blogging intimadates me.. I dont know what it is about it but i figured i would give it another try. so dont judge. it might not be the cuttest blog you have ever seen by the pictures of my huband will be pretty cute! We have tons of family all over the place that we would love to keep in contact with and this just might be an easy way to do it with everyones crazy lifes. If not, then ill stop doing it.. so dont get your hopes up too high!

As most of you know, a lot has been going on in our home and we could not be happier!! We moved to Utah and shortly after found out we will be expecting our first baby in the end of August!!

And......

Seth just KNEW it was a boy and I KNEW it was a girl, needless to say, I lost the bet and still owe him a week of backrubs. Even though we would have been happy with either, I'm almost relieved it's a boy. I mean dont get me wrong, I would love a little girl and girl's have adorable outfits but they also are dramatic, high maintence and expensive! haha But mostly I knew how important it was to Seth and his family because he is the last Wilson boy to carry on his last name.
When Seth was young his great grandpa before he died, he asked Seth to take care of the Wilson name. Throughout the years I think that has meant more to him then just "have a boy" but when he told his Grandpa Wilson he was having a boy, his response was, I'm sure your Great Grandpa is pretty happy right now.

So we're all pretty stoked for this little man.
