Taking Every Moment

 



This past month we have had a lot of people in our hearts and prayers and it has made me think about my loved ones a lot. My aunt lost her sweet mother to a long battle of cancer last month. My aunt is one of my best friends and her mother was an amazing example of strength, courage and love.

As well as Seth's good friend growing up was in a very bad car accident about two weeks ago, he has been married to his sweet wife for a short six months and they are expecting their first child together in January. Maybe this hits me hard because our situation is not much different from them, young married couple expecting our first baby.

They have inspired so many thousands of people through their biggest trial. I think of his sweet wife throughout my day and think of what if that was my husband. Because of them and their story..

I  love my husband more

hold him a little longer

kiss him like it might be the last

and cherish the moments we have together

Words can't describe the inspiration they have been, not only to me but to thousands of people. They have been a true example of pure faith and trust in the Lord and have shown such strength. I think we can look to this family's example and like the couples favorite saying.. "come what may and love it."

Tuesday Dates

Thanks to my AMAZING friends who finished our nursery while we were away, we had a free night! 

So we decided to go on a little Tuesday night date! We weren't sure what we wanted to do but we had a groupon for half off frozen yogurt by our house

then went to the park and watched a softball game! no matter what we do together, we always have fun!

My cute husband was not very happy about taking pictures though! :)

Nursery & The Friends I Couldn't Live Without

When we came home from our vacation I was very surprised to open up our spare bedroom and see that my amazing friends Kelsi & Melina had gotten into our house while we were gone and practically finished our nursery!!! 

Of course I cried when I opened the door and saw my sweet little ones nursery. it is beyond perfect and more than I could have ever asked for. It is adorable & i cant wait for our little boy to be here!

I was such a stress case to get all that I needed to get done that my sweet friends found my list of things to do, stocked my Pinterest and went to work! They painted, sanded, shopped and even washed babies clothes! They are amazing!!

  

They seriously have done way too much for us already but was such a blessing for me and I can even tell you how much it took off this pregnant chicks shoulders! They even painted our bassinet that my mom used for me and I use to use for my dolls growing up!

I do not know how I got so blessed to have amazing friends like them in my life. I don't think they even could comprehend how thankful I am for them and wish there was a way I could repay them! If anyone has ideas.. let me know! :)

Phoenix Baby Shower & Family

My cute family had a baby shower for me at my sister in law's adorable house (seriously, every room is Pinterest worthy!) and it was so much fun to see all of them and my phoenix friends!! Again I forgot to take a picture with everyone but so glad i got to see more loved ones! 

Meet my son's future wife. My life long best friend, Brittni just moved to Mesa and it was so good to see her and her sweet baby girl, Stella! No matter the distance, we will always be best friends & sisters.

Thank you so much for all of our presents and love you showered us with! It was so good to see everyone and I'm so thankful for my friends and family and the way they influence my life! Love you all!!

     

All my adorable aunts and their cute daughters! I have such amazing woman in my life who are such great role models of the type of mother I want to be!

My cute sister-in-law just found out she is pregnant and is due in November! So our little one will have a new cousin to play with! I am so excited for this cute mom-to-be!

My sweet Grandma who is one of the greatest examples to me. She is patient, loving and so caring. So glad we got to spend some time with her in Arizona! And yes the dorks in the background! :)

After the baby shower we got to go to Seth's cousins opening of his mission call! It was so good to see Aunt Nancy and her great kids! Defiantly a family that I want my family to be like, they are so welcoming and always have their kids friends at their house and i love that! ((not the best picture but the only one we got!)) Were so excited for Heeder and his mission call to Peru!!

We then got to go see the new temple being built! Looks like it's almost done!! So beautiful, disregard the disgusting window.

Things We've Missed, Alabama Bound & A Little Bit of Baby

The main reason we went down to Tucson was to help my parents move to Alabama. They have moved quite a bit in the last few years and now they are on their way to the south again! They get it pretty easy with a company that packs everything and hauls it away but they still need bodies to help! Plus we needed to say goodbye to the house where we fell in love in and see friends//family!

I also got to go to dinner at my favorite place Golden Dragon & favorite ice cream at Frost with this cute girl! (Three things I have missed!) It was so good to see her and catch up on everything! We have been besties for more than 10 years and its crazy to see that we are now starting our own little families and how much we have grown together! love her.

And a little bit of baby! I'm so glad we went down to Tucson so my friends, family and my parents got to see and feel our little one kicking.. cause the past week, he hasn't stopped moving and we love it!
