days off are the best days

happy labor day. how thankful i am for those who have sacrificed so much so my family can have the life they do. from the bottom of my heart, i love this country & its true meaning it stands for.

started the day at ihop with my favorite people and ended it making meals for a meal swap with awesome friends! yay for freezers meals! 

((Thanks to my cute dad for giving me his famous spaghetti to share)) Also had to say goodbye to my all time favorite sister missionary I have been able to get to know here in Alabama! She's my Logan sista! 

long weekend with my boys

Oh how its a rare thing to have a weekend off with my main man, let alone a long weekend with nothing really planned. It was a blast & memories were made!

My moms cousin was driving thru and was able to stay the night with us. It was so much fun to chat, catch up and talk crafts & family! Can't wait till we go to visit them!!

Gosh I love this man ^ I love days off with him (Which this was the first Saturday he has had off, when were not traveling, in the last year!) & I think he is the most handsome of all.

Ignore the multiple pictures of the same thing. I thought this was the cutest thing I had ever seen!

mama also did a fun project! This beut is now hanging in zac's room and it is one of my favs.

It's not a weekend without our weekly Sunday family photo! Although people probably think were crazy and have way too many family pictures, I love the fact that I the boys will be able to look back and see them, so we can see their growth and remember these special times we have together as a family.

As you can tell, Zac wasn't in the mood to take pictures. Okay lets be real. He never is in the mood. So enjoy the littlest of our littles.

just cause it was a good day

Day at the park with my boys, outside picnic, running errands and enjoying the weather, these cute smiles and a happy life.

We were out and about when I realized that we hadn't eaten lunch. mom award right here. Of course I choose Chick Fila and of course it was their free meal day aka the busies day of the year! so when we finally get up to order I hear a little voice in the back, pee pee potty mama! And of course it being our first day out in public with our big boy underwear, I pull off and we run inside and it was a SUCCESS! boy was I a proud mama! mostly because I didn't have to clean up any pee in my car.

Grayden's First Eats

ahhhh is it true that my small little baby is now at that stage of solids, bibs and high chairs?! I feel like it took Zac forever to get to this age and with Grayden it was like a second has gone by. But I LOVE this stage. In fact it probably is my favorite stage so far! Everything makes them smile, trying new things, sitting up, crawling and learning so much yet still so little!

This week he also decided that he is a squirmer!!! Rolling from his belly to his back to his back to his belly. The kid is all over the place. Hello mobile baby. Goodbye ever leaving my eyes off of him.
