ORANGE BEACH, ALABAMA

After the rough few months we have had as a family my parents thought it would be good to go to the beach and relax and they were right!! Luckily Seth had a week off of school in between summer school and fall semester so he got the week off of work and we were off! The 5 hour trip only took us 6 which is pretty amazing with two babes under two. Thank you to Grayden's pacifier and Zac's obsession with Cars, we were good!

Zac wasn't too sure how he felt about sand on his feet
but once he got to the ocean he was all for it!

Seafood Dinner every night. my kind of vacation.

Beach Day Two: where the sun was shinning all day long & the boys were as happy as can be.

After going to the beach and seeing all the boats, my sweet Z is obsessed with "boowts" now and so we had to go check some out up close. He was in love.

There was so much fun stuff to see and but I am so glad I didn't see a crocodile...

The last night we had a true seafood night together, where my dad taught Seth how to eat the true southern way! It was delicious and a great way to have our last night in Orange Beach

We keep finding things we love about Alabama and this for sure is on the top. We did a lot of talking about coming back every year and making it our vacation spot. We had such a good few days relaxing, playing games, taking naps, exploring and enjoying being together.
Can we go back already?!
Until next time 1312

dream job.

Growing up I always wanted to be a photographer, hair stylist or a nurse but KNEW I wanted to be a mom and thats where my heart really was. It's so neat as a mom I get to be a photographer, a hair stylist, a cook, an organizer, a cleaner and a nurse, all while using my imagination with trucks and tents. I LOVE what I do!! Being a mom is the most rewarding thing ever and I have never had more fun in my life than being a momma to my boys. I'm so glad I was blessed to have my dream job, everyday!
This weekend was no exception, where I could do all of those things and more. Love my weekends with my boys.

Friday Lunch Date with Daddy! When we lived in Arizona, Seth was working so much we didn't get very much time together so we made sure we had a weekly lunch date and I have missed those so we make sure to do one every once in awhile and I love them!!

                                                 BEFORE                                    AFTER

and of course we had to run thru the sprinklers after a hair cut. don't you?

I love how no matter what my little family does, we have such a good time together. Cleaning out the garage turned into new toys and a bike ride. & Yes we finally did get it cleaned out.

Dinner with friends & overpriced top notch cupcakes.
I love how everywhere you go in the south it is beautiful.

When both boys go down to sleep at 8 o'clock (which is a freakin miracle) and you live with your parents, you take advantage and you go out on a date. Impromptu dates are always good.

Through all the craziness of the weekend I got a lot of one on one time with this little guy. Thank you long nap times. But it made me really realize that my little guy is getting big way too fast. He is now entering into my all time favorite stage of babies. heart swooned. 4.5 months of goodness.

Kiddy Carnival

There is a long list of reasons why I love the south and these types of things have to be on the top! This kiddy Carnival was a blast! I wish I could have captured the cuteness of it all better but watching Zac ride the little rides with other kids his same size was pure joy. Even though at first he didn't seem too amused, once he got off the ride he would gabber and want to ride another one! & Of course the "choo-choo" was our favorite!

Grayden loved the carnival...

snow cone took precedence over everything.
