Seth's cute cousin Aubrey is going to the MTC today to go on an LDS service mission to Washington DC for 18 months! She is going to be an adorable missionary and we are just so excited for her!

We went to go get shakes at Sammy's after eating dinner at Haley & Kalobs! It was such a fun night laughing the whole time! They are such a cute family and we love living close to them!

Mother Dear

My mother is the most amazing woman. She amazes me with her kindness, support and patience. She has the most pure bright spirit and is simply beautiful. She is nothing but incredible.  I know I am extremely lucky to have such an amazing woman in my life to call my mother & my best friend. i am thankful for everyday that i get to hear her voice and have her in my life.

I just hope that I will be the type of mother to my son that she is to me.

I am so thankful for those who have been motherly influences to me in my life. there are incredible woman in the world and i have been touched by many of them.

Prego Entry

I'm getting bigger! -25 weeks-

cravings:
Fruit.. any kind. if its fruit.. ill take it. thank goodness my husband doesn't mind me spending our life saving on fruit at the grocery store every week!
Candy- i'm loving anything fruity ((starbursts, gobstoppers, nerds, laffy taffy))

prego problems:
heartburn. tums are my friend. chocolate is not.

the boy:
he's kicking like crazy & we can see it now in my stomach!
started feeling his hiccups.. which is the most adorable thing ever
growing perfectly- per doc. :)

Let me tell ya, people say a tons of stuff when you get pregnant to prepare you for the next 8 months or so of your pregnant life

but things I've learned on my own...

1. Everything gets tighter! I mean everything! Not only have my clothes gotten tighter but sometimes I think my stomach is so tight it is going to rip!.. real story. I know that I look down at my tummy at least once a day and think, how the heck is he gonna get even bigger than this?!

2. People stare. I don't know if they stare because I'm pregnant and they're just marveling my body being a vessle for human life or if they're trying to decided if i am actually pregnant. Or the best is when they check for a wedding ring... no I am not a 15 year old knocked up high schooler haha

3. Baby is like word vomit. Baby. Anything baby, comes out of my mouth all the time. I feel like that high school-er who is obsessed with her boyfriend and that's all she seems to talk about!

4. When I was a little girl, when anyone would ask what I wanted to be when I grew up, I knew just what I wanted to be- a mom. I didn't dream about a princess wedding or finding my prince charming.. even though I really did find him and my prince charming did give me my dream.. of becoming a mom. No matter how many times I say it out loud or talk about it, its still kinda takes my breathe away, I'm pregnant. when I feel the baby move or crave something weird or even just look down at this little belly that is holding my future son, I can't help but smile

I'm Obsessed With My Husband

I am very happily married to this cute guy

but I'm always open to how to love him better.

I saw this blog on Pinterest, Ten Things which gave really good ideas to stay close to your spouse. Some of their ideas are similar to what we already do but had some new ones I would love to try! Seriously Check It Out!!

The other night Seth and I were talking and it just felt like when we first met. I mean don't get me wrong, we are still in the very much in love newlywed stage but I had butterflies all night just talking to him about life, love and whatever. In that moment I know we both never wanted that feeling to end.

Im all about doing anything to keep that so we are those cute old couples that are still obsessed with each other.

My parents are great examples of this (not that they're old haha) but they would much rather be together than anything else. They show there love to each other all of the time, are kind to one another and go on dinner dates all the time. But one thing I would love hearing even as a kid, their Saturday morning pillow talk for hours and don't stop talking on road trips. It showed me that even after many years of knowing each other and hours of talking, they still have things to learn about one another and still enjoy talking.

"Pray for the love which allows you to see the good in your companion. Pray for the love that makes weaknesses and mistakes seem small. Pray for the love to make your companion’s joy your own. Pray for the love to want to lessen the load and soften the sorrows of your companion"

-Henry B. Eyring

In the blog it talked about Five Weekly Questions that they ask each other every week while on their Sunday walk (something I would love to start up as well) and I love that idea!

we pray together every night & morning. go to bed together every night
we serve each other. daily. remember why we fell in love.
talk about our future together. date nights. every week.
always hold hands.  staying in together.
temple dates & churchy stuff
leave cute notes. laugh. all the time.
encourage each other. consider each other feelings
support one another. love on each other
talk & listen. cuddle. a lot.

Temple Challenge

After Seth and I moved to Utah we have been trying to go to a different temple every month! We are so incredibly blessed to have three temples 15 minute drive away from our house! You don't get that in Arizona or really anywhere in the world so here's our temple challenge and try to visit as many different temples we can in Utah this year!

The temple is a huge part of my life and of my marriage. If you are debating on whether or not to get married in the temple.. DO IT! without a doubt. no matter how hard it is to get there! It has been a strength in our marriage and I am so glad i have this man Forever & Eternity and that our family will be sealed forever together! Its a beautiful thing!

No matter what temple or where it is, everything about the temple is just simply beautiful. The feeling you get is the most peaceful and loving feeling. It allows you to get away from the worlds worries and feel closer to our Heavenly Father.

As a little girl I always dreamed of going in the Salt Lake Temple and knew I would do anything to be worthy enough to enter one day with a man that I love. Last month we got to go to the Salt Lake Temple and it was a great experience and I'm glad I had my husband there with me.

((Draper))
((Oquirrh Mountain))
((Jordan River))

((Salt Lake))
(I didn't like the one we took last week ha so you get an older one that I love!)

It has been a great experience to go to different temples! Next on the list before baby boy comes- Logan, I can't wait!! the new Brigham City Temple and Ogden (which just got remodeled)

I love the temple and all it stands for. I know I wouldn't be where I am right now without it.

May Already?!

Even though we woke up to snow on our first day of May.. yes snow, there is so many exciting things coming up this month! Mother's Day, Our ONE year anniversary (whoot whoot!!) Trip to San Diego, California and Arizona to visit friends and family!

We had a VERY busy month in April but it brought tons of friends and fun!

LDS Conference was such a good way to start April cause I love conference and the spirit it brings! Here are some of my favorite talks: Check it out

Favorite Quote from this Conference:

All Things Bright and Beautiful: General Conference:: Sunday Session

Along with Conference, my brother Riley and cute sister-in-law Alexis got to stop in for a short visit from Arizona and with them they brought great news! Looks like our little one will have a cousin coming a few months after him! We are so excited for them!

Stephen & Lucy also came to visit us for the weekend from Arizona. They are Seth's great friends from back home.. I emphasize on the great from a reason! They have been such a strength to us, are amazing examples and have always been there for Seth. Stephen and Seth met up last year and have been best friends ever since and I'm so thankful Seth has had a friend like him! Lucy is so strong in the gospel and such a good person! We had so much fun getting to know each other more and talking prego stuff cause they're expecting in October!
My sister put it great.. "its like buying a new car, once you buy it, you see the same car everywhere!.. now you're pregnant, everyone you know is pregnant!" haha
((i could seriously kick myself for not taking pictures with them! but here's an older one with them))
We also had our 12 year "Family Anniversary" I call it that because when my parents got married, I didn't just get a new dad but also three brothers and a sister.. Its the day we became a family!

Even though its been hard at times, I'm so thankful for my family and especially my dad. He is such a strength for our family, a great example, has always been there for me and is an amazing man! He showed me what I wanted in a husband and I'm so thankful for his example of his priesthood, hard work, patriotism and love he shows to my mother.

I also got a pretty amazing sister who I love to death! I could go on and on about this girl and how happy she makes me! One of the first times Natalie and I played together, she said she always wanted a sister because she had three older brothers (at the time our parents weren't dating, I don't think they had ever even met) I hope I'm the sister she always wanted cause to me she is more than a sister, she is my best friend!
My Aunt Pam came up for the weekend with some friends so we got to see her for a few days! We spent the day downtown before we took her back to the airport!
She has been my rock at hard times, my example, my getaway and someone I greatly look up to and can talk to for hours! She has become one of my best friends over the years and I am so thankful to have her in my life! My uncle is a lucky one// she is pretty awesome. miss her already!
((my favorite place))
((my favorite boy))

((Ever since I was a little girl my favorite place was Temple Square when the tulips were out! There is nothing better and is so beautiful on a gorgeous day!))

To end the month we went got to see Jacob ((Seth's mission companion)) and his cute wife Maren for the night from Washington before we went up to Randolph to Seth's Aunt Linda's for some cowboy branding!
This couple is simply adorable and we had so much fun going to dinner with them, playing games and hearing their crazy mission stories they had together! Wish they lived closer!

So not tons of time for crafts but had tons of fun visiting people we love! With all this fun I also started working full time again so this prego girl is tired!
Everyone says weeks go by slow when you're pregnant but with being this busy, the baby will be here as soon as we know it!
